Qld: Police seek another woman in attempted murder investigation

Brisbane police investigating the attempted murder of a woman on Sunday night are trying
to locate another woman who may have valuable information.

Police say a woman named AMANDA was a passenger in a taxi when the driver found the
naked and bashed victim in suburban Bowen Hills.

Detective Senior Sergeant MARK AINSWORTH says the woman was picked up by the taxi at
10.12pm in Harcourt Street before the discovery in Hurworth Street.

The passenger was later taken to her destination.

The 34-year-old sex worker is in a stable but critical condition in the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

The woman was last seen at the Night Owl convenience store in nearby New Farm earlier
on Sunday night.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
